Dos batch scripts

  • Read psw on an apppool identity:
    c:
    cd %systemroot%\system32\inetsrv
    appcmd.exe list apppool "DefaultAppPool" /text:*

FAQ

  • Q: “Control Panel – Programs – Uninstall” gives message: “There are other persons logged on….”. Strange, when I am the only one logged in.
    A: If you from VisualStudio is running Win8 simulator, then you are actually logged in twice. Close the Win8 simulator and try again. Verify with “Task Manager – Users” that you now are the only one logged in.
