A few notes about network.
Getting External Client IP from behind NAT
- http://www.whatismyip.com/. This page wil repond with your external IP address
- You can also start Fiddler, browse to a page on the Internet and then look at Session Properties by selecting the line with your 200 response and press Alt-Enter. This could give you something like:
SESSION STATE: Done. The request was forwarded to the gateway. Response Entity Size: 299 bytes.
== FLAGS ================== BitFlags: [SentToGateway] 0x800 X-CLIENTPORT: 57689 X-RESPONSEBODYTRANSFERLENGTH: 299 X-EGRESSPORT: 57690 X-HOSTIP: 193.34.xx.xx
In this case X-HostIP is the external IP address.
